Upcoming Beer Releases

Road to Nowhere DIPA – 9.0% ABV

This dank brew returns with a seasonal hop update, brewed with whole cone Chinook! When brewing the Road to Nowhere Double IPA, we utilized every available vessel in the brewery to delicately lower the temperature of the wort to ensure the smoothest and most aromatic beer possible. Road to Nowhere is super oily, dank, pungent with heavy citrus and tons of white flower.

Mainstays Pinthouse Lamar

Electric Jellyfish IPA

ABV: 6.5%

Brewed with some exciting hop varieties featuring Citra, Simcoe, Azacca, and Galaxy hops, Electric Jellyfish enjoys a bright tropical citrus character along with notes of orange, lemon, lychee, and a floral backbone. The Jellyfish is a hazy new school IPA focusing on the juicy hop flavor and aroma while keeping the bitterness balanced and refreshing.

Blunderbuss Bock

ABV: 5.3%

Bocks are big in Texas and we thought it was about time to mess with tradition and put our take on the beloved style. Blunderbuss is fermented with a German Kolsch yeast to give it a clean dry finish while still maintaining some delicate fruity aromas. Blunderbuss is an Amber beer with a reddish copper color brewed to accentuate the malt character while remaining crisp and dry like a true Bock. Light chocolate character mixes with fruity caramel notes and a soft citrus and herbal hop character leaving a clean refreshing finish.

Jib Cutter Craft Lager

ABV: 4.6%

The Jib Cutter is an American Craft Lager utilizing two newer hop varieties, one from the Yakima Valley and one from Germany: Equinox and Saphir. The new hop varieties give the beer refreshing notes of lychee, orchard fruit and floral characters that overlay a German Pilsner malt character. Jib Cutter is lightly hopped and very approachable to all beer drinkers who want variety in flavor and a light refreshing beer.

“You can’t be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.” – Frank Zappa

Burro’s Breakfast

Mexican Lager

A craft Mexican Lager calling on the tradition of German influenced Mexican brewing, Burros Breakfast adds an American craft twist, producing a refreshing lager with just a bit more punch at 5.6% ABV. Jaguar Shark

Bourbon Barrel Aged, Imperial Dry Irish Stout

ABV: 10.7%   Available: Fall / Winter

The Jaguar Shark starts out life as The Admiral – Imperial Dry Irish Stout but is quickly sequestered into bourbon barrels for aging, yielding an amazingly complex beer. Barrel Aged Series

The Pinthouse - Barrel Aged Series features small batch releases aged in bourbon barrels, rum barrels, or wine barrels, imparting flavors from both the root spirit as well as the wood oils. The Barrel Aged Series tends to produce some of the biggest, boldest, and most complex beers in the Pinthouse lineup. If you are interested in trying a Pinthouse Barrel Aged Series beer (you should be!), look for them on our Tap Schedule, or wander over to our Live Tap Feed to see what we currently have on tap.

Firkin Taps

Taps every Tuesday @ 5 PM - Firkins are cask conditioned beers that are allowed to naturally carbonate in the cask, rather then being force carbonated in a keg or serving tank. Cask conditioned beers typically are served at room temperature, rather than chilled. Although the Pinthouse - Firkin Taps are technically pins (5.4 gallons, or roughly half a firkin), it is way more fun to say Firkin! Our Firkin Taps roll out every Tuesday at 5 PM and typically are conditioned with spices, fruits, herbs, hops, or other ingredients that impart unique flavors and character to the beer. The Firkin Taps usually don't last past Tuesday night, but you can check out our Tap Schedule to see what we are rolling out over the next few weeks in the Firkin Taps Series.
